If you let your new subscribers access your giveaway product before verifying their registration, they may never register. Instead of linking directly to the product after a successful registration, create a page that lets the new subscriber know they’ll receive an e-mail to confirm their registration. Once they’ve confirmed, set up your autoresponder so there’s a customized page with the download.

We have a saying in Internet marketing, “If it doesn’t make you money, then why do it?” If you don’t have a plan to make money from your site, then it can be a tremendous waste of time.
